Word on the Pete’s “Last Monday in May” Memorial Day poem will be read tomorrow at a painting dedication ceremony at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia. The ceremony celebrates & honors both the survivors & the fallen heroes of the Battle of Khe Sanh, a tragic battle fought in 1968 Vietnam.

Pete’s most famous poem, “PTSD“, was awarded first place in the 2010 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in La Crosse, Wisconsin. His poems have also been read and recited at several churches, meetings, & events across the country.
