Poem Reading Tomorrow in Washington
Word on the Pete’s “Last Monday in May” Memorial Day poem will be read tomorrow at a painting dedication ceremony at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia. The ceremony celebrates & honors both the survivors & the fallen heroes of the Battle of Khe Sanh, a tragic battle fought in 1968 Vietnam.

Welcome to Word on the Pete! Word on the Pete features Peter Baldwin’s Christian poems. Pete’s most famous poem, “PTSD“, was awarded first place in the 2010 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Pete lives just outside New York in the Long Island suburbs.
